You want this for when you need to figure out how many calories you should be eating on a daily basis to either gain or lose weight. Once
you know your BEE, adding calories over that number will make you gain weight and eating AT your BEE with exercise will cause you to burn fat.
BMI Calculator
The BMI is the standard the doctors use to tell you if you are fat or not. The problem is, it doesn't take into account muscle mass. You can learn more
about it here and why if you are a lifter, you need to take it with a grain of salt. The only half useful thing about it is that it can tell you if you are "average" or not.
